Alright. [That acknowledgement is the only text sent in the response. Nothing more than that is needed, really.
Twenty minutes is enough time. More than enough, really, as she arrives in fifteen, walking in and looking around to see where exactly Valvatorez has decided to wait for her, assuming he was already finished with the setup; it's possible that she could have gotten here just a little too quickly.
[Fortunately, it was a short search, considering Valvatorez was already out in the lobby and waiting for her to arrive, sitting in one of the seats looking rather comfortable. He did take notice of Desi approaching, though, and quickly stood up.]
Ah, most excellent. You're early! I quite appreciate that.
I can't afford to waste too much time when I don't know for sure how much time I actually have. [And she wonders if she could have gotten away with arriving earlier.] Did you wait long?
Not long. A few minutes, but frankly nothing to fret over.
[He waves that concern away. Frankly, it was no time at all, as far as Valvatorez was concerned... the amount of lengths he would go to in being early would probably shock just about anyone.]
Now, come along! No sense dallying around. [He heads for a deeper section of the Mithril Cage, walking past several of the main areas where combat is often on display for people to watch if so desired.] I have set up your test in a more prepared, controlled environment as a matter of precaution. Your opponent and targets will be simulated, but treat it like it's real.
[He'll lead her into one of the final cage areas. The arena inside is spacious, but the viewing area for this zone is smaller, though it's deserted save for them. The room itself was dimly lit compared to many other chambers, but not remotely dark; closer to a natural lighting scenario early in sunset.]
Once you step onto the arena platform, your challenge will begin. At first, you will simply have targets to hit... use your abilities as you see fit, and show me what you're capable of. After you choose to end that segment, I will send a simulated foe at you to test your strength more directly. It will not be able to hurt you, but treat it like it can and do not hold back.
[As probably expected, Desidera immediately follows. She remains quiet during the explanation of what she'll be doing, looking out into the arena itself as she listens, and she takes note of the lighting conditions in there. It's possibly a deliberate choice on Valvatorez's part, considering she had mentioned being able to manipulate shadows during the previous day's discussion.
It's probably also to make it a bit harder to discern where the targets would be coming from, but that could be dealt with simply by bringing her own light. ...which is probably another factor he's taken into account, honestly; she had mentioned fire as well.
When he asks if she has any questions, she shakes her head.] No, I don't believe I have any. Let's go ahead and start this.
[With that, she exits the viewing area, walking into the arena itself and stepping onto the platform to wait for her first targets.]

Could he blame her for that, though, if she was?]
